It's not uncommon. I lurked for 4-5 years and signed up when JJ was suspended. Yes you had been very anti miles and are usually one of the biggest nega tiger in a thread.

For most of my life LSU was a second tier power along the lines of a Clemson, lots of players to the NFL but could never get over that hump into the truly elite. Saban fundamentally changed that and I have tremendous respect for what he did. That won't stop me from tweaking the Bama fans when opportunity arises. A lot of the lingering anger is over the indecision in his leaving. Spurrier was available but Saban dithered and puttered around until he wasn't. The OBC would've been a scary sight on LSU's sideline. Still, all in all, Miles is a good fit. Someone once said he walks a fine line between genius and ineptitude.

Come on Ricky I've been asking you to provide links for your claims for awhile.... You have yet to back up these claims and I am still waiting.... Probably like I will with this alter, just make the claims without any substance or proof

I have no reason to make this up. I remember I used to get disgusted with you and nuts4lsu's negative sentiments towards miles. As I said, I have absolutely no reason to make this up. You seem to be on board now, and that is cool. I won't go back and try and drag up on links...doesn't matter to me that much...i know for myself and I know I'm not wrong. So, since you say you have been spot on recently, where will the tigers end up this year. I've been spot on as well, but can't seem to come up with a solid estimate for this year. I'm not sure if they lose 1 or none, but I am sure they beat bama and go on to win the SEC Championship.

He was happier for sure. We have ruined him and it is showing on him every day. It aint easy hanging with the tide.

I did think if a good idea for a bumper sticker.

about 3 years ago, he was very anti-miles. Of course it is hard to be now, with the success. I am very pro miles as well, have been all along. I tend to look at the overall big picture a little more, and the totality of accomplishments..although I admit I was very disappointed in the way Miles handled the qb situation down the stretch last year and on Jan 9th. That said, don't want to lose him.

Best way I can put it...

Your woman leaves you for another woman. It sucks, but you can't compete

After being a lesbo she decides the dick is what she wants but then goes and gets hooked up with your rival.

How do you really feel about Nick Saban?
Happy he brought our program out of shambles by keeping LA kids home.

Do you hate him for the way he left?
No, he was moving on to the NFL. Completely understood.

Do you love him for having a great run at LSU and winning a NC?
frick no, he's still the coach at Bama therefore I hate him.

If he wanted to come back to LSU someday would you accept him?
Honestly this is a tough one. It's hard to say no to the best coach in CFB but I know we'll keep Miles until his best days are past. With $aban you never really know if he'll roll out.

lol

nice anology....

however, I can't blame him. It is a business at the end of the day. He is in the business to win and to make money. Personally, I think it really adds something to SEC football, and definitely to the lsu/bama "almost rivalry".

I like Coach Saban and appreciate what he did for LSU. I am not upset that he left. Honestly, I felt bad for him at the time as it was a truly tough decision for him. I am angry at the former Dolphins owner as Coach Saban turned him down, but the guy would not leave him alone about the decision.

If he wanted to come back to LSU, yes, I would accept him. Hey, if Coach Miles had left for Michigan when there was an opening in 2007, I think Coach Saban would be at LSU today. It is like Coach Saban said, he would have loved to return to LSU, but there was not an opening at the time.

It is funny how Coach Rodriguez turning down Alabama helped you guys and ended up screwing LSU

I appreciate what he did for LSU. He put us back at the top after years of mediocrity. It sucks that he's now at a divisional rival(yeah yeah, we're not BAMA's rival) but it was the best job open at the time and you can't fault him for taking that job. I am more than happy with our current coach and don't wish for Saban back, but if Miles left for some reason I'd welcome his return(I know this will never happen). LSU has a lot to be grateful for in regards to Saban and 95% of LSU fans I know and talk football with have respect, not hate, for Nick Saban

well said.

Okay, I will admit that Saban is a great coach and he has done the most with his opportunity.

But, There are a lot of great coaches out there that lady luck did not shine on them. Bama was like LSU, they went through a lot of duds before a good coach came along.

The fact is, Saban does wear out his welcome everywhere he has been inculding LSU, there are folks that say he is a complete arse to work for and be around.

Saban will coach a couple of more years and either retire or move on. He cannot stay at the same level of Mr. Intense into his late 60's or 70's, just a fact.
