Serious question for Alabama fans

Hypothetically, if Saban would've never come to Tuscaloosa, and the football gods had been shitting on Alabama football for these last dozen years, would you still be bragging about the 1992 national championship team and using it as message board ammo?

Or, would it be embarrassing that 20-something years had passed since the last national championship and you wouldn't really want to talk about it?
Just asking, because a bunch of the Tennessee people on here are still flexing over a championship that happened 20-something years ago. Or is that the difference between the two fan bases?

Not a Bama fan, but I figure they'd probably be talking about the Blackout game when Bama beat the living crap out of Georgia.

Cannot change history, so who knows.
I do feel that if UA were to not win another championship for the next 25 years that fans would most certainly and proudly bring up Tua and the art of the second half QB change in all matters of fan bantering with UGA fans... especially if 1980 were to remain their last title year.
