I have a question. If LSU should win this tourney, big IF I know. Any way they get to host a regional?

That would make them one of the hottest teams in the country winning hardware against the deepest conference in baseball.

Beating the likes of Florida, Miss State, Arky, SC and either Ole Miss or Ags along the route. They are all tourney teams.

No. Host sites are announced before championship game.

host sites are normally announced on Sunday night after the championships are finished

but yes... LSU's chance of a top 16 are slim to none

I think they have moved the time back so that it is after the conclusion of most, if not all, of the Sunday games, but I still don't think Sunday results are going to matter much.

LSU is not hosting this year.

I see....well they will be the scariest #2 in the field if they win this thing in Hoover!

Not really . A lot of the better teams don’t put the emphasis on the tourney . Florida didn’t care about the game with us. I just don’t get excited about a deep run in Hoover because we have done it in the past and choked in the regional round

Arkansas and Ole Miss are likely national seeds. Georgia might be but will host a regional. Florida might be the top overall seed. Auburn would be the other possible host. If aTm somehow wins this tournament, they could maybe host as like the 16 seed, but there’s simply no way LSU can get any higher than a 2 seed. The Box is closed for the year

If a number 2 and win and the other 1 seed we are paired with loses. Could reopen the Box .

LSU isn't doing anything in the postseason. Can u not watch this team and realize they are nowhere close to past LSU teams? Not even close.

I don’t think LSU gets to host regardless of the outcome. The better question may be, “who wants LSU assigned to their regional?”

Arkansas has been a lock since beating S.C. maybe even before the SEC tourney.
