Just because Ed O was the perfect guy to replace inept Les Miles, doesn't mean he was the perfect guy for the longevity of the program. This was always an unfortunate possibility.

Well I’m glad you know. It’s not always obvious to the masses but y’all have flashes of a really good team. Just need a coach to harness it.

Desmond said it best yesterday. LSU has won 3 NCs with Saban, Miles and O and 2 of those never win a title anywhere else. If we could latch onto the right guy he could build a program and have long term success.

I was impressed with Nussmeier, rifle arm, quick release & a nice touch. Bech looked good too & Kiner is quick as a hiccup. Ton of young talent on that team (jmho)

LSU is in too talent rich of a stage with a massive fanbase and an athletic that loves spending money to ever be down long. Just frustrating they find ways to keep screwing up instead of becoming a perennial juggernaut.

Not many teams if any will have a roster full of athletes year after year as LSU and right from their state. A good coach, good recruiter, and manager of the program is in high cotton as the HC at LSU.

Disagree. They don't have an Ed problem, they have a culture problem.

Culture comes from tone at the top. Head coach and culture are not exclusive usually.
