Chizik is impressive on TV. I'm not sure that he is an outstanding coach but he is way better than Gus. Chizik is also probably better than whoever Auburn hires next after Gus is fired.

Gene was doing OK until he lost control over all the thugs Trooper Talor and Curtis Luper signed on at the Barn. Even the security service Gene hired didn't help.

Gus is inconsistent, paranoid and stubborn, but he’s a better x’s and o’s coach than Chizik and he knows how to run a program better than Chizik.
