SECRant March Madness Bracket results deemed invalid through an independent investigation

The investigating body, which will remain anonymous so as not to call into question the integrity of the inquiry, was composed of 14 members, one from each SEC member school, chosen at random.

Their conclusion was based on the following findings:

1. That a disproportionate number of the 64 posters selected (15) were LSU posters.

2. That one member school (Vanderbilt) had zero representation yet members of a third-rate university fanbase (UCF) were allowed in.

3. That the seedings were deliberately set up to advance certain individuals while putting better posters at a disadvantage.

4. That the bracket was designed deliberately to keep one or more fanbases out of the final 16, 8 and 4.

5. That two board administrators (Chicken and LewDawg) were allowed to compete, which compromises their ability to properly administer and do their jobs.

6. That a poster voted worst poster on both the Tiger Rant and SEC Rant by a near unanimous vote (Wild Thang) made the cut.

7. That peej (Dukke V) made the cut.

8. That the event was moderated and sponsored by an active participant.

As a result, the tournament is effectively nullified and may resume once the aforementioned discrepancies have been resolved.
