SECRant cereal bidness question: Was Johnny Manziel ever punished for his DUI?

I remember during the 2010 Heisman campaign, Heisman voters kept bringing up Cam Newton's past as it pertained to the Heisman. Some completely overlooked LaMichael James' DUI from earlier that year, while others also noted it. Within the Heisman creed are the words "integrity" (as we all know). While Cam Newton's and LaMichael James' pasts were brought up, why wasn't Johnny Manziel's? And did he ever even receive a punishment for it from the Texas A&M coaching staff?

It was fake ID after he got in a fight after a night at the bar.
Or his buddy started a fight. Johnny ended up involved.
And it was offseason. Sumlin punished him but it was resolved before the season started. And many media members voted Teo over Manziel because of character and integrity

That was 2 other players. Suspended for La Tech game. They were a LB and a DB. As you can tell their backups weren't good and LT put up 50 on us

Not sure if he was punished but he did whip your teams asses all year. I do know that.
