Add 30 wins to Bama's total.

Go ahead and throw all of our spring game victories in there while bama is making stuff up for themselves.

Post WW2 small all-male military school wasn't too good at football. But we started letting females in and things picked up for a couple decades.

1980-2000
6. Florida 0.74510
7. Tennessee 0.73819
11. Georgia 0.69153
12. Texas A&M 0.68849
13. Auburn 0.68623
17. Alabama 0.67717
31. Arkansas 0.59919
37. LSU 0.56017
44. Ole Miss 0.52500
49. Mississippi St 0.51046
62. South Carolina 0.48739
82. Kentucky 0.40042
83. Missouri 0.39873
100. Vanderbilt 0.30388

We even had a 4-year window where we were 2nd to only FSU. 42-5-1 (0.88542) while beating LSU's arse yearly.

Bear Bryant went on a tear in the 70's.

He had a damn fine run from '59 to '68 as well. 3 national titles plus a perfect season in '66.

But Bama was downright awful for much of the 50s. Thus the need for Mama to call Bear home.

Not coincidentally LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Auburn all won national titles while Bama was down or on the rebound.

Ole Miss won the SEC 6 times between 1947 and 1963.
From 1964 to 1979, Bama won the SEC 11 times.
Oddly enough, those 6 titles for Ole Miss are still more than the rest of the non-Big Six schools combined.

Saban went on a mega tear in the 2000s and 2010s.

103-16-1 from 1970-79.

Saban will eclipse that this decade.

6 and half years and the Ags will join the 800 club. We'll likely pass Auburn before Jimbo leaves A&M. Maybe LSU too.

At this rate, Georgia and LSU should pass Tennessee by 2021 and 2026, respectively.

Deduction of at least 60 for aTm due to pre-SEC SWC level competition.

Exactly why winning percentage is a far better barometer.

LINK

But it doesn't change the top 5. Makes the gap between Tennessee, Georgia and LSU much narrower. And Florida jumps up to #6 over Aggy. Ole Miss also edges out Mizzou.

6. Alabama .723 (889-328-43)
12. Tennessee .677 (833-383-53)
13. Georgia .652 (807-419-54)
14. LSU .651 (787-411-47)
18. Auburn .633 (766-435-47)
20. Florida .628 (714-415-40)
26. Texas A&M .602 (732-476-48)
34. Arkansas .588 (713-494-40)
55. Ole Miss .561 (666-517-35)
64. Mizzou .545 (671-555-52)
81. South Cackalacky .512 (601-572-44)
91. Kentucky .495 (605-617-44)
93. Vandy .495 (600-613-50)
98. Miss State .492 (554-573-39)

Judging by winning percentage, the Big Six rises to the top.

6. Alabama .723 (889-328-43)
12. Tennessee .677 (833-383-53)
13. Georgia .652 (807-419-54)
14. LSU .651 (787-411-47)
18. Auburn .633 (766-435-47)
20. Florida .628 (714-415-40)

And all SEC titles in football since 1964.*

*Kentucky has a weak arse claim for 1976.

Bama loss those 30 games for cheating. I personally hate vacated victories but officially they do not count. Bama petitioned for this instead of heavier scholarship reductions.
