25 Vanderbilt
21 Georgia, Mississippi State
20 Arkansas
19 LSU
17 Tennessee
16 Ole Miss, Texas A&M
14 Auburn
13 Florida
12 South Carolina
10 Missouri
8 Kentucky
6 Alabama

17 Georgia Tech, Louisville
12 UMiami
9 Pittsburgh, NC State, UNC
8 Florida State
7 Clementine, Notre Dame, Virginia
6 Boston College, Duke, Wake Forest
4 Virginia Tech

6 SEC schools have as many or more (17+) as the 2 top finishers in the ACC. the ACC should have no more than 2 of the 16 regional hosts this season.

UMiami, NCSU or UNC hosting a regional over Ole Miss, Tennessee or Texas A&M would be a big 'f-you' to college baseball.

Best to settle this discussion after Omaha. Both conferences have great talent, though the SEC seems to be the deeper conference. In the end... there can only be one champion. Perhaps the ACC will win in baseball and hold concurrent NC titles in all three major NCAA sports. Last chance for the SEC to make a statement. Look forward to watching the games.

Tennessee hosting a regional with a losing record in conference and the 9 seed entering the SEC tourny? No way they deserve to host.
