I know the two Thursday night SEC games involving SEC teams are BOTH on ESPN

CONFIRMED (times Central)

Thursday August 29th
South Carolina vs North Carolina 5PM ESPN
Ole Miss @ Vandy 8:15 ESPN

Saturday August 31
Alabama vs Virginia Tech 4:30 ESPN
Georgia @ Clemson 7PM ABC
LSU vs TCU 8PM ESPN

Just curious if anyone has an idea or wants to guess the schedule for the impressive remaining slate of SEC opening weekend games. There are some VERY, VERY good OOC matchups.

I'm only going to post the ones that are TV worthy (due to betting so no SEC vs FBS schools)

Florida vs Toledo SEC Network???
Kentucky vs Western Kentucky in Nashville ???
Arkansas vs UL Lafayette CSS/COX
Auburn vs Washington State ESPNU
Mississippi State vs Oklahoma State ESPN2?
Texas A&M vs Rice FSN

I would think ESPNU would pick that one up rather than Auburn-Washington State

Georgia-Clemson is an 8:00 kickoff.

Two offenses, no defenses, it would be like basketball on grass for Auburn-Wash State, Gus vs the Pirate, etc.

There would be more interest in that game for the casual viewer than watching Gundy run up the score down in Houston.

Ehh...a 2-10 vs 3-9 SEC-Pac 12 matchup or 9-4 vs 8-5 SEC vs Big 12. One sounds a whole lot better than the other

Wow 4:30 I figured it would be a Primetime game. I guess LSU/TCU is the 7pm ESPN

I guess Columbia will close-down early that day for that game. Or half-days at the least. People will start tailgating after lunch, traffic is going to be a m-fer at rush hour around the I-26/I-77 loop.
