Why? We’ve had a damn good program until Jim Wells retired. His hand picked successor didn’t work out.

To be fair, Missouri could have made the field this year. Still easily could have lost but at least they are better than bama?

We've been awful for 3 years. We were mediocre, and in the NCAAT most years, the 7-8 years before that. We were 1 win away from Omaha in 2010 and made the tournament 6 of 7 years from 2008 to 2014.
Almost always in Tallahassee.

I know I’m older. But it is amazing to me how quickly people forgot that Alabama had a consistently great baseball program until 2010.
I’ll admit we’ve sucked arse the last three years. But come on.

Fair enough. I guess LSU baseball was all I really paid attention to at that point in my life. Only time I ever even thought about Bama baseball was when they played us. If that’s my logic I guess I thought a lot of teams sucked

Yea it's weird.
From 1995 to 2014 we went to 16 of 19 NCAAT, 3 CWS, a national runner up, 2 SEC Titles and 6 SECT titles.
That wasn't 1960-1980, it was roughly 10+ years ago. Anybody over 25 who has paid attention to CBB since being a kid would vividly remember it.

Jim Wells was a heluva good coach. Bama has not been the same since. Plus he had to recruit against some bigger powers. I can only speak for MSU but we got a lot of talent from Alabama over the years.
