SEC teams in top 16

There are 125 D-1 football schools, 351 D-1 basketball schools, and 299 D-1 baseball schools. Football has less than half the number of teams to compete against compared to the other two sports. Below are the teams that finished in the top 16 of each of the big three sports.
One Sport (8 schools):
Alabama (football)
Georgia (football)
Florida (football)
Texas A&M (#16 football post bowl polls)
Tennessee (basketball)
Mississippi St. (baseball)
Vanderbilt (baseball)
Ole Miss (baseball)
Arkansas (baseball)
Two Sports (2 schools):
Kentucky (football and basketball)
Auburn (basketball and baseball)
Three sports (1 school):
LSU (football, basketball, and baseball)
Great job Kentucky and Auburn! As an LSU fan, it felt good to cheer in post-season play this year for all three sports. Hopefully, football and basketball continue trending up and baseball can resist declining.
If the SEC does not pull off a championship in Omaha, then the entire conference failed to win a national championship in all three of the biggest sports this year. Shame on all of us!
Last, here are the schools that need to improve a lot next season because they couldn't break the top 16 in any of the top three sports:
No sports:
Missouri
USCe
ETA:
Used CFP for football at first. Forgot they didn't include bowl games. Edited to move Texas A&M from no sports to one sport to show they squeezed into the top 16 in one sport after beating NC State in the Gator Bowl.

How about SEC Teams in the Top 5? Alabama, Auburn and hopefully 1 of the baseball teams I guess?
Also, very nice years for Auburn, LSU and Kentucky. Congrats.

Didn't want to go to that point yet with baseball still going. Only 3 schools in one sport each, so I don't think it shows a good overview of the SEC as a whole.
But here it is:
Alabama (football)
Auburn (basketball)
Baseball (pending)
ETA: removed Georgia from list because I forgot the CFP poll was pre-bowl games.

Did Georgia finish in the Top 5? I figured they fell out after the Texas game.

A&M finished at #16 in football in the AP poll.

I guess they wouldn't be. First poll up was CFP, which I forgot was before bowl games. I guess they did. I'll edit.

Why not the top 9 or the top 14 or some other willy number?

You know who.
What kills me is they are treating Will Wade like a God for finishing 15th, yet they are calling for PM's head for a similar final ranking.

Top 16 is a weird number for football, but a fine one for basketball and baseball.

Alleva is gone, thank God

I wanted to be consistent across all three sports, and basketball and baseball have clear top 16. I wanted to include as many programs as I could in the rankings, so I just used it across the board. If I went with top 8 for football (due to less than half the amount of competition), then Kentucky moves to one sport and Texas A&M back to none. That is the only difference it would make.
Top 8
Football: Alabama, Florida, LSU, Georgia
Basketball: Auburn, Kentucky
Baseball: Vanderbilt, Mississippi St., Arkansas or Ole Miss, and maybe Auburn?
ETA: so Auburn has the only chance to be top 8 in two sports
