Auburn: 2 seed
Tennessee: 4 seed
Florida: 5 seed
Texas A&M: 6 seed
Alabama: 7 seed
Kentucky: 8 seed
Missouri: 8 seed
Arkansas: 9 seed
Mississippi State has a 13% chance of making the tourney.

I think we get 8 in, but not those 8 (assuming the omission of aTm was a typo). State sneaks in and Kentucky drops out going down the stretch.

State needs 23 wins to have a decent shot at the tourney. That's winning some games down the stretch here and in the sec tourney. Could happen, but... who knows?

Link says most likely seed for us is #3 (includes yesterday's loss).
Edit: Weird. Front page says 4 but when you click on the team for info. it's 3.

7 seed is way better than 8/9 seed, for you miss playing the 1 seed in round 2, and you could play 2 seeds. Like Auburn.

I think the difference is that while the highest percentage is a 3rd seed. You are more likely to be a 5th seed than a 2nd seed and so on. That is the reason you are still projected a 4th seed on the main page. The odds of a 3rd seed and 4th seed are really close anyway.

i think after aub and UT, we pretty much fill up the 7-8-9-10 seeds where we can. going to make for some really interesting second round games should we not shite the bed.

I get the feeling the committee will frick over a couple of SEC teams, because they cannot have the SEC being good in basketball... takes away from the other conferences.

Gators will play UGA & UK at home soon and we could end up having 23 Ws if we play hair on fire like yesterday. That's counting 1 L before tourney time and we could win out IF we play with the passion and defense like against USC. AU will also be coming to Exact Stadium and hopefully we knock them off.
Seven SEC teams should be in the big dance....I don't see an eight team field. Everything also depends on what OOC teams do til then. The ACC isn't as strong as some years and ditto big 10...good yes...great?

Who of those eight do you see missing the field? Arkansas could definitely miss but the other seven are pretty solid
