You're worse than Vandy.

Holy Mizzou. Damn near 50/50 shot to score against them when you get the ball.

UGA definitely looks like a historically great defense; it'd be interesting to see where other great defenses stack up in comparison.

LSU over Arkansas and South Carolina being so high surprised me.

Too hard of a comparison. The game has changed so much in the last ten years.

LSU must be allowing more TDs than FGs by a wide margin with that point per drive number.

They clearly are an excellent unit, but they have benefitted from facing very poor scoring offenses.

Thus far they have faced as many teams ranked in the bottom 20 in points per game (#109 SC, #113 Clemson and #127 Vandy) than they have in the top 80 (#26 AU, #47 Arky, and #66 UK).

Tennessee may be the only decent offense they face before the SECCG.

Don't know if this is an intentional dig at UF, but they are better than UTK to this point.

Also, Arkansas would be in the top 30 in PPG if you don't count our game.

Shane beamer and Clayton White have cobbled together a decent defense for SC.

It's their offense that's offensive.

UGA will have about a 97% chance of scoring on us every drive

Our D is the direct opposite of UGA's great D. Our strategy of stopping drives by giving up a TD is not what I would have chose.

Sh*t through a goose.

UCLA - 5 TD, 1 FG
McNeese - 1 TD, 0 FG
CMU - 3 TD, 0 FG
Miss St - 3 TD, 1 FG
Auburn - 3 TD, 1 FG
Kentucky - 6 TD, 0 FG
Florida - 6 TD, 0 FG

Total: 27 TD, 3 FG

ETA: One of CMU's TDs was a pick 6 so that's not on the defense. But that's still 26-3 which isn't much better

A drive is more likely to finish behund the sticks (i.e. punt on 4th down 11+ yards from the first down marker) than to put points on the board against UGA.

0.47 points per drive is pretty insane

Funny that Florida is still up there after LSU ran all over them
