I always wonder why there are so many fewer upsets in softball than baseball. Both hinge heavily on the effectiveness of a pitcher so you would think softball would have a decent amount of upsets also but the seeds almost always win their regionals.

It’s way easier to pitch consistently with the natural motion of softball than the unnatural motion of basaball. That’s the biggest reason

ULL was a really good team - wasn't expecting us to beat them twice today. Mike Smith has been doing a solid job with this program.
