LOL .... no I didn’t. Now you’re just being silly.

You claimed AZ won the championship in 96 and Kentucky in 97.

Now stop darnit it. LOL

You omitted the 96 season from your original post and I corrected you on it clearly stating that the SEC swept that year with Florida winning in football, LSU in baseball and Kentucky in basketball and Tennessee in women’s basketball.

You’ve been arguing against that every since.

Listen, it doesn’t matter but it is here for everyone who cares to see ... the SEC swept in 96. Kentucky won the men’s basketball title in 96 NOT 97.

Just because you do it that way does not mean it is correct

Because scrooster was using the accepted way of doing it

I didn't omit 1996 in my original post you just missed it which I then quoted to you so you should see. Like I said I counted the 1995-96 season towards 1995, the 1996-97 season towards 96, 97-98 toward 97, etc. I'm sorry you don't like how I have it written you'll just have to deal with it. Now let's let this be the end of it ok? You count it how your way I'll count it how my way, and my way is 95-96 counts towards 95, 96-97 counts towards 1996, etc.

The championships fall in the year that March takes place. Kentucky won in 1996, was Runner-Up in 97, and won again in 98. As our banners reflect.

Ok fine I admit defeat. I looked at AZ's banner and it says 1997 so I've edited my op.

But that wasn't the premise of my op I was just trying to answer the op's question of how many times SEC Teams have been shut out/lost all big 3 championships; since nobody else had done so.

Even if I made a tiny error which caused a huge argument.

Don't look at it as defeat, look at it as getting educated so you look smarter the next time.

I was doing it the way football did theirs. The 2014 nc is for the 2013 season so I figured basketball was the same way. Guess not. Anyway I answered the op's question the best I could even if I have made a few tiny errors regarding basketball years.

This probably means my other basketball years are off by one year but I don't feel like going back and changing it so y'all will just have to dwi.

It's all good. No problems. I do stuff like that all the time. Someone around here will always correct us when we flub it up.

To finally answer op it has happened 8 times: 1995,1999, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2013, and 2016. Click link above for more info.

point about the 3 football championships in the last 6 years was to point out that the ACC has vastly improved in football in recent years
As a whole conference, this is false.

That’s simply not true. Take the last three seasons. The head to head record of ACC vs. SEC is: ACC - 19. SEC -18. That’s a pretty good sample showing the conferences are relatively even in recent years.

I’m not saying the ACC has caught the SEC but there is vast improvement. Clemson currently dominates the ACC the way Alabama is dominating the SEC.

Cheese ... that is not the answer to the question darnit. Did Kentucky win the national title in 96 or 97? Stay focused.

Best moment in the discussion. He’s so salty over 20 years later that he forgot to answer the question.

You are still somehow doing this wrong. OP is asking about school year, I'm pretty sure, not calendar year.

2018 Football Champion - Clemson over Alabama
2018-2019 Basketball Champion - Virginia over Texas Tech
2019 Baseball Champion - Vanderbilt or Michigan

That is how an athletic year runs.

F*ck Lute and his cheating arse team.

(yes I am still salty they got denied the 3peat when they had it except for the zebras. I get home cooking on a home court but home cooking in a championship game blows goats.

I did it for school year. For example

2016 Clemson over Alabama 35-31

2016-17 Villanova over UNC 77-74 and

2016 coastal Carolina over Arizona 5-4 game 2 and 4-3 game 3. I thought those were the school years?

Here's Villanova's basketball banner it shows 2016

Here are links to NCAA website which shows 2016 Clemson won football natty, 2016 Villanova won basketball natty, and coastal Carolina won 2016 baseball natty. I did the other years the same way.

Baseball

Basketball

Football

This might be what you're looking for: 1995-1996, 1999-2000, 2001-2002, 2002-2003, 2004-2005, 2005-2006, 2013-2014, 2016-2017. Are those the school years you're wanting? Either way it's 8 times.

I think you may just be too dumb to argue with.

The picture you posted is for the 2015-2016 school year.

The football champion for that school year was Alabama.
The baseball champion for that school year was Coastal.

If you're so smart why don't you answer the op's question instead of arguing with me. At least I made an effort to try and answer his question. Half of the pages on here are of people arguing with me over my posts instead of answering the OP.
