True

I actually feel bad for your fanbase for having to put up with the most inept AD in the conference. It's great for all of us that play you, but that's brutal.

I’d say it’s a little early to be judging her since she literally hasn’t been out AD for even a year yet.

Got rid of Martin even though they were friends. Went against the grain and hired Dennis Gates and the whole fanbase has started to fall in love with how well he has been able to recruit so far.

I think she has done a decent job since becoming the AD. I don’t pay attention to anything other than mens football mens basketball and womens softball and basketball. We are great at gymnastics and wrestling but I don’t care to watch neither.

This is stupid. There are really only three sports anyone cares about and none of them include women.

I'll be sure and curse our Men's Tennis team when I feel something stronger than generic apathy towards the sport.

Our athletic department is a total mess dating back to hiring Mack Rhoades…but I’m optimistic that the current AD will clean up the mess.

There have been grumblings on Reddit/Twitter of employees complaining about working environment under the new AD, which leads me to believe there’s a lot of deadweight staff that has been milking the university for a long time and doesn’t like the new sheriff in town demanding better results.

I honestly wasn't aware you guys made a new hire at AD. Fingers crossed she can get you guys out of the gutter. I'm sympathetic because we were in a similar position for a big chunk of the last decade and it just sucks the life out of you from a fan perspective

Only softball has a winning record. That’s…less than desirable.

About wrestling program has built itself into a top 5 National power, but we play in a conference without it which is kind of hilarious.

How have we become successful in wrestling? Found a great coach and given him whatever he has felt he’s needed. We’ve been loyal to him and Coach Smith has turned down many jobs over his 24 year career here to build us into a power.

The only other program we’ve done that with has been football under Gary.

Mizzou can field a winner, but ADs who jump ship and or fail to show commitment to coaches OR except mediocrity at the cost of refusing to fundraise for the program is the story of Mizzou athletics.

That’s my TED talk. In short, invest and believe in talent and give them the resources they need so they won’t leave.
