The one time LSU defeated a ranked Alabama team in Tiger Stadium was 2010.

Correct. But Honestly WGAF about the ones that aren't recent? O is moving in the right direction.

Edit was to clarify my point.

There was a span where Bama was ranked every other year when they played. LSU was beating Bama in Death Valley, but Bama wasn't ranked.

The context of the OP was Ranked Bama teams.

LSU is 9-28-2 in Baton Rouge against Alabama in general. Ranked or unranked.

If an LSU fan made this thread, the responses would be about insecurity and moral victories.

I'm sure you do. The great mystique of Tiger Stadium at night is ruined only by Alabama. The ironic thing is that 2010 game was a 2:30 kickoff. LSU has never beaten a ranked Alabama team, at night, in Tiger Stadium.

Was Bama ranked in 2007 when State won at home? The 1980 game was in Jackson when Bama was ranked #1. Bama was in the top 10 in 1996.

I’d applaud an LSU fan for making this thread considering how unbecoming the stat is

Outliers don't ruin. They are outliers.

Death Valley is still known by many as one of the hardest places to play.

No I believe Bama was fresh off of the ULM loss

ULM loss was the next week. State was the week after LSU.

We were ranked #21 at the time, obviously finished the season unranked.
