And no, I’m not talking about guys who had really bad injuries or got kicked off the team. I mean guys that simply weren’t all that good after their freshmen year.

List em

ETA: Upon looking at his stats again, this is a bit unfair. But IMO he never stopped playing "like a freshman"

My first thought as well.

Had a phenomenal freshman year then disappeared behind Addai and Broussard

If you are implying that I purposely made this thread just so an Alabama or A&M fan could answer “Derek Stingley Jr.” then you would be beyond delusional. Do you really think I’m that smart?

Yes. I did. Because it’s unbelievably true. Not everyone has to go the self-loathing route like you.

For those on mobile:

Damn Diddler.

That's somewhat pathetic.

Yikes.

I know it doesn't really fit this thread, but it is interesting that Bart Starr peaked in college in his sophmore year.
quote:

New coach J.B. “Ears” Whitworth wanted a more mobile quarterback his senior year, Starr sat through much of an 0-10 season. From 1960 through 1967, Bart's record as a starter was an amazing 62-24-4, and the Packers won six divisional, five National Football League, and the first two Super Bowl titles.

As for Whitworth,From 1955 to 1957, he coached at Alabama, where he posted a 4–24–2 record, the worst record for a non-interim coach in school history.

And we will never be able to put Mike next to the visitor's locker room ever again.
