UGA has none thus far. Curious if any SEC players have?

Our starting center, Eli Johnson (whose dad nearly died from COVID), just announced that he's opting out.

We have 5-6 but who really cares at this point. Most likely opted out of going 0-10 as opposed to opting out due to covid

We don’t have any so far. Terry Wilson considered it but decided to play.

Neil Farrell is taking his redshirt, believe he already had some issues with virus in his family

Auburn had a linebacker opt out over fears he could transmit the virus to his newborn (his reason, not mine.) I'm blanking on his name for some reason but he was gonna be in the rotation if not an outright starter.

Gus granted him a redshirt I believe.

Not sure how accurate this list is, but it's supposedly current.

DB Traivon Leonard
Leonard opted out of the season on Friday, Aug. 7. The Florida native played in two games as a reserve in 2018-19 and was slated for a similar role in '20.

LB Chandler Wooten
Wooten tweeted on Thursday, Aug. 6 his intention to opt out of the 2020 college football season. The Georgia native played in 30 career games from 2017-19 and recorded 27 tackles as a junior in '19. He will take a redshirt year and return to the team in 2021.

LSU

DL Neil Farrell
Farrell opted out of the season on Saturday, Aug. 8. The Alabama native played in 15 contests and recorded 46 tackles for the Tigers in 2019. He was slated to be a key cog in the defensive front for 2020.

Ole Miss

C Eli Johnson
Johnson opted out of the 2020 season on Sunday, Aug. 17. The senior was slated to start at center for the Rebels this fall.

South Carolina

OL Mark Fox
According to GamecockCentral.com, Fox will opt out of the 2020 season. The Miami native was slated to be a redshirt freshman this fall.

OL Jordan Rhodes
According to GamecockCentral.com, Rhodes has decided to opt out of the 2020 college football season. Rhodes started 10 games for South Carolina in 2019 and was projected to play a key role in the trenches this fall.

Vanderbilt

OL Bryce Bailey
Bailey opted out of the 2020 season on Saturday, Aug. 15. He played in 12 games and made two starts for the Commodores in 2019.

OL Cole Clemens
Clemens opted out on Saturday, Aug. 15. The Utah native has been a key cog in Vanderbilt's offensive line over the last two years, recording 22 overall appearances in that span.

K Oren Milstein
Milstein tweeted on Monday, Aug. 3 his intention to opt out of the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Milstein was a transfer from Columbia expected to push for time as the team's starting kicker in 2020.

LB Dimitri Moore
Moore opted out of the season on Saturday, Aug. 15. The senior was projected to be one of the top defenders for the Commodores in 2020. He led the defense with 99 tackles last year.

OL Jonathan Stewart
Stewart opted out of the 2020 season on Saturday, Aug. 15. He played in 10 games and made three starts for Vanderbilt last year.
