When comparing the rating from weeks 3-10 viewership is down 35.5%. I do expect SEC on CBS's last 3 games of the year will be higher than the previous.
Week 11. Last year's DSOR had 4.992 viewers. This game will probably be the first week to have more viewers than the 2016 week.
Week 12. 2016 had Missouri vs Tennessee with 2.543 million viewers. This year Kentucky vs Georgia should have more.
Week 13. Friday game, Arkansas vs. Missouri... but Iron Bowl could have higher numbers than last year, depending on the outcome of the DSOR.
We really need the SEC to be more competitive in the future years for that good TV money. A good Florida, Tennessee, and Texas A&M team would make a huge difference.

the games have been awful this year in the 3:30 slot

Vanderbilt Bama was the worst

Nobody wants to watch a commercial every 45 seconds.

Bama usually pull lots of viewers. From the numbers it looks like their fans didn't even watch it.

People will if the game is at least entertaining. If you don't care about either team, no one is going to watch a blowout with that many commercials.

They've had some bad matchups.
Even LSU Bama was probably not the best fit for primetime.
It's why the permanent opponents need to go.
Bama vs UGA would have been a great regular season matchup this year for primetime.
I don't see any scenario where the SEC champ is left out, even a two loss sec champ likely gets in.

i am certain this is because of the boycotts

The conference is down, so that certainly affects the games, but I believe the incessant amount of commercials drives away casual fans.

There were not many good games to pick from, but when there were, CBS always seemed to go with the worse matchup.

bama LSU the highest rated game both years

The clear solution is to put MsState on CBS more often

Highest regular season game last year. SEC Championship had more with 11.093 million viewers.
Iron bowl will have more than this year's LSU-Bama game. Also a good chance DSOR will have more also.

i'd be willing to bet if MsState vs Bama were the CBS game it would get more viewers than the UGA barner game. Part of it is also TN playing on CBS all the time... i work with half those fackers and they don't even watch the games anymore.

CBS is killing themselves with commercials. If my team is not the one playing, I'm not sitting through their bullshite.

The problem is they dont pick the best game most of the time. I mean was UGA vs UT really going to be a good game? UF vs UGA? UF vs UT? Vandy vs Bama,

TSIO viewership down 33% from 2016. Time to let it die along with Butch Jones' career.

Vols were a great CBS team last season and have been a terrible one this season.
