I find it hard to believe that nearly one out of every ten plays for LSU has resulted in a loss. That's insane.

Honestly I've been happy with the line.
Our bigger issue is blocking by TE's and WR's in the run game and the middle of the line isn't getting to the second level.
They have protected Franks very well though. Run blocking is easier to fix than pass blocking. Hopefully it cleans up before the meat of the schedule some. We can't continue to struggle to run.

Part of this was because Venables ran a 3 man front (which freaked Monds mind) and didnt blitz nearly as much as normal. 8 in coverage was weird to see but it really frustrated the Aggies.

Without going through the thread, is this where opposing fan bases trivialize LSU’s win on the road and how Texas isn’t good?
I’d even bet it’s got a fair amount of Bama fans also convincing themselves LSU really sucks and ‘nothing to see here’ or ‘wait until you face real defenses’.

Neither one of those are 100% due to an OL. Football outsiders has much better OL ratings that take a lot more OL situations into account.

It's still obviously really early, but specifically our numbers are definitely much improved over last year. We were hovering around 100 or so last year in a lot of categories.
