Last year was pretty record setting for terrible officiating in the conference. Do you think it gets any better this season?

It can't get any worse, that's for sure. Last year's crews set a high bar.

I agree but like everything else we do this WAY BETTER than everyone else. The hilarious part is that Steve fricking Shaw is the National Director of Officials. The fact that he gets any paycheck at all after how the SEC Refs performed after he was in charge prove that there is no accountability in that profession.

The best you can say about college football officiating is that it's not as bad as college basketball officiating.

It will be great for Alabama.
Bad for most everyone else.
And It will cost Arkansas a game or two as it usually does.

Meh...probably not but it's still horrible though. CBB is absolutely atrocious.

Steve Shaw is gone and he was replaced by this guy:

Saw an interview with him during media days. While he's worked in the SEC for awhile, he's not a typical born and bred SEC guy.
