They didn’t even review the play when our RB had his knee down and then fumbled vs SC in the 4th quarter.

MSU lost because of that play.

What are you talking about? People are acting like that was a zeroes on the clock play. State had the ball 2 times after that play and missed out on TWO 2pt conversions.

I don't know that exact play but to be fair if the au defender tips that ball then it's not a PI

Nope, because the contact happened before the tip.

I still think what happened to state was worse. I'd be livid after that.

Might would rank up there with Colorado's 5th down if Penn St had lost.

If any part of the ball is in the end zone, it’s a safety. The entire ball must clear the plane of the goal line.

PSU had to punt on 3rd down. Refs screwed up but this is not why you lost the game.

It should have been third and 12, instead they punted. (A more questionable call was the 4th and 1, did a whistle blow?)

Auburn should have had a safety (It is pretty clear). The targeting hurt us also as they would have been forced to kick a FQ (4 Points) That's six points. We got to the red zone down 8, if it had been 2, we kick a FG and win.

There were other bad calls in the game (both sides), but the refs suck.

FYI, we lost for many reasons, terrible defensive strategy, fumbling on the first play of second half, dropped passes, only scoring 2 TD in 5 trips to the red zone. Not going for it on 4th and 1. We made plenty of mistakes.

You must be a SEC official.

I was half watching but remembered that play and it really stuck out.

I assumed that the whistle must have blown due to a stop of forward progress. I did not see the replay but didn't think forward progress had been stopped but of course once the blow the play it has to stop there.

Actually, maybe I am thinking of a different play. I believe there was a play where the guy moved the pile five extra yards that wasn't given to him. Maybe that was it and maybe not.

The entire ball has to get out dumbass. Let this be a lesson to you

I didn't know if the ball had to be completely out or not.

But I was smart enough to look it up before arguing.

The only thing I am wondering is if he had forward progress at any point prior to the gif. If not, looks like a bad call.

penn state only got 3 downs. nothing will ever be worse than that
Imagine crying about this not-safety (forward progress, the whole football made it out) but ignoring that they STOLE AN ENTIRE DOWN from Pedd State.

Barn- you lost to pedophiles even though you had ref protection.

The only way this isn't a safety is if before the gif he got the ball across and then was forced back and they gave him forward progress. The forward progress in the clip is way before the whole football made it out.

No one has ignored this, but any rational person knows that losing a down on 3rd and 11 is inconsequential compared to one team both getting two points and a change of possession

Yes, they protected us by not calling an obvious safety and ejecting our best defender for hitting a guy about to score in the should with his shoulder

Imagine thinking losing a down at the start of the second quarter is more consequential than having a starting linebacker wrongfully ejected or having should-be points not given in the final minutes.

As much as I hate Auburn. He is correct. When the players knee hits the entire ball has to be across the goal line and it is not.
