I don't think that's the SEC's decision.

We need a tie in with the Pac 12.

Besides, the SEC needs to drop the two yankee schools, Arkansas and Missouri.

Yep. Our #1 team, assuming they aren't in the CFP, should play the #1 from the Big 12 (Sugar Bowl). Our #2 should play the #2 from the Big 10, since their #1 is in the Rose Bowl, But our #3 should be playing a Pac 12 team, their #2/3 team.

I'm tired of the Big 10/ACC match ups.

This. I was looking at an interactive map on our 247 site this morning that shows everywhere that Arkansas has played a game and we've only played 5 times west of Texas in our history. Only two of those were bowl games, Fiesta Bowl and Holiday Bowl, and the rest were scheduled.

I'd love to see us set something up because there are some great travel spots out there for bowl games that would be better than a Shreveport or Birmingham.

No doubt the sec should drop the independence and or Birmingham bowl and add the heart of Dallas bowl vs a PAC 12 team. Much rather play in the historic cotton bowl stadium in Dallas vs a PAC 12 team than Shreveport. Thus, the sec would have bowls in Dallas and Houston to invade longhorn nation.

You can't say the word "Arkansas" without sounding Southern. Missouri is the only true Yankee state in the SEC

Sure you can, Ar-Kansas.

LSU has only played five times west of Texas in our history, also. All were regular season road games at Arizona, Arizona State, USC, Washington and Colorado. Technically, the extreme western tip of Texas is further west than Boulder, Colorado, so we've actually only played four games "west of Texas".

He said sound Southern, not sound like a dipshit.

Good try, though.

As a Texas fan, what business is it of yours what the SEC needs to do? Arkansas is SEC period. Missouri shouldn't have happened but it did so why we may as well make the best of it. Thank God Texas isn't a member. You guys have ruined two conferences and are so arrogant you don't see it.

Don't forget that their "bad years are better than the best years of schools like Missouri."

Of course it is. If the SEC chose to not renew a contract with the Sugar Bowl and decided to go with the Peach Bowl, for example. Then there is nothing anybody can do about it. I am not saying they will, nor I am saying I want them to. Just saying the SEC can do what it wants as a conference. This is Merika

Totally agree with kicking Big 12 out of the Sugar Bowl. Easy to find a more attractive option.

If it's possibe then I agree. they're all boring matchups, minus Texas and somewhat OU. the rest are just beyond boring

I agree with breaking the contract with the Big Dumpster Fire conference.

I would also like to dump Shreveport and Birmingham for the Bahamas and Hawaii. I know those bowls don't pay as much now, but get the sponsors to match the other two for a SEC team. It'd be great for the players and fans.
