Florida was our only SEC loss. Going to be hard to win there against them. Floridas to lose imo.

But Texas A&M looks solid as well. I think State can get back to the finals

We beat TAMU 6-1 on Friday at College Station, but tennis scores can be very deceiving. It was a close match.

The tourney should produce a lot of very close matches. It is very fun to follow.

Another expected Florida & A&M finals match up in non money sports. Like clockwork.

Going to college tennis dual matches are is a of fun. It's not at all like the stuffy polite clap Wimbledon crowds. People yell and heckle players and the players often show a lot of emotion.

Why doesn't Mizzou have tennis?

Is it because they have Wrasslin?

I honestly don't know. We have a women's team.

You are probably right - those schollys go to wrasslin'. And say what you want about it, but wrestling is the only sport where Mizzou is consistently elite.

Damn a 12th seed winning a tourney 3 times is quite remarkable honestly.

Probably because of wrestling.

SEC actually has the highest % of schools with a men's tennis program among power 5 conferences.

ACC: 13 of 15 (Pitt and Syracuse don't)

Big Ten: 12 of 14 (Rutgers and Maryland don't)

Big 12: 6 of 10 (Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State and West Virginia don't)

PAC 12: 9 of 12 (Washington State, Oregon State and Colorado don't)

There are only 3 conferences in the entire country where all members have a men's tennis program. Ivy League, Big Sky and West Coast.
