Don’t underestimate the MSU bulldog. He will just find a corner and fall asleep while everyone else kills each other, thus being the only one left.

Georgia’s bulldog almost got killed by a cow with horns last fall, so they’d be the first to bow out.

Lions can hunt elephants.

Only if desperate, and typically only sick, slow moving ones - or baby elephants.

Healthy elephants in a herd will wreck a pride of lions.
A stampede of elephants is not being brought down by a pride of lions.

Most predators will be wary of a singular elephant if it is healthy, and even rarer still will they try for one in a herd.

Elephant herds aren't like other herds - they're not there to let the slowest get eaten. Elephants will wreck your shite.

Why do we even try this? Tigers are apex predators for a reason. Mizzou, Auburn, and LSU would be the last ones standing, unless auburn decided to submit an eagle to the battle instead of a tiger.

I don’t know the ability of flight is a game changer.

It would be extremely hard for the Tiger to catch the eagle in a battle royale. It would have to sneak up on it but that’s not gonna work well in this style of fight.

I also don’t know how the Eagle is gonna kill the Tiger though. Maybe drop shot on it

I'd take a Razorback over most of those mascots.

AU clearly has the advantage with 3 mascots.

a1m has the 12th man.... but probably only for their "after parties."

Actually, I wonder how a landshark would hold a rifle.

You obviously missed my last sentence.

But one or two elephants vs three or six tigers won't be able to employ proper herd tactics. It depends on how you scale it.

And it's not a one on one. It's a free for all and there are men with 18th century firearms on the field. If they target the elephants first, the tigers probably win. If they target the tigers, the elephants probably win. (Except there are three teams of tigers). Either way, the men probably don't win. They have one good shot and then are very vulnerable for a minute or two before the next one.

Gators would do pretty well. Don't think it would be very easy to knock them out of the fight.

In a one on one fight, sure. Same way a moose will kill a single wolf.

But if we're doing single entries from each mascot without any balancing at all, then this is an even stupider discussion than it already appeared to be.

Well even a pack of Lions/Tigers can't kill an Elephant.

But Elephants don't roam single either, so not sure what your point is.

Prides of lions have killed elephants before, and it’s not an irregular occurrence. The point is it would be 3 Tigers and one Elephant.
