Or do they get the tiger and the eagle? Also, do we get the old guy, a bear, and a shark? I need answers.

Yeah, I think the tigers take it, personally. Especially in a battle Royal where the human combatants are distracted by each other.

The other possibility are the elephants if the humans concentrate on the tigers, weakening them both.

Elephants don't have predators, save for humans.

As soon as someone renames their school mascot "The Poacher", lemme know.

Tbh I’m not sure how much those kinds of muskets would do to an elephant, or even a tiger. Even hunting rifles in the 21st century barely hurt an elephant unless they get hit directly in the head or from the fro t through another vital organ. The other problem is how inaccurate those muskets were compared to how agile Tigers are.

Lions can hunt elephants. Tigers don't because they're not pack animals. I think it's a safe assumption that allied tigers in a fight like this would work together (that's three teams of tigers)

Since tigers are bigger and stronger than lions, it stands to reason that as they could take down an elephant(s).

I would say their likelyhood of doing so is inversely related to the numbers involved, however, as the elephant's defense scales faster than the tiger's ability to attack.

This is just wrong. Packs of lions hunt elephants.

The Volunteers, Rebels, Commodores, and possibly Aggies are all some type of military.
The Rebels lost, so they're out.
I'm going to assume the Aggie is going to be some sort of farmer turned soldier, like in the Texas War of Independence, so he's got a chance. Can see him knocking out a Mexican and then getting drunk with his cousin the Volunteer who showed up too late to actually fight.
If the Commodore doesn't get a fleet he at least has a sword and possibly a rifle. I mean, he's a sailor who's in charge, and I've fought sailors, they're tough.
Tigers are too smart to fight humans. They fight amongst themselves for mating rights and avoid people as much as they can.
Nobody mentioned the Gators - is Alabama going with the 'Tide' thing? If so, Gators can swim right? Might have a problem with the sailor, though - even money.
Wildcats and Bulldogs are both ferocious but pets. Tie 'em to a leash and domesticate them.
Hogs and Gamecocks are basically dinner.

The fact that Georgia fans cannot comprehend the difference between a battle cry and a mascot keeps Auburn fans endlessly amused.

Why do we even try this? Tigers are apex predators for a reason. Mizzou, Auburn, and LSU would be the last ones standing, unless auburn decided to submit an eagle to the battle instead of a tiger.

This is false. Elephants will kill Tigers, not the other way around.

It would be difficult for a Tiger to even kill a juvenile Elephant. An adult is out of the question.

Elephant vs Tiger

Elephant vs Lion

We were talking about 3 Tigers though, and we were talking about bigger Tigers than the wimps in that video. Mike before he was only half bengal

In a one on one fight, sure. Same way a moose will kill a single wolf.

But if we're doing single entries from each mascot without any balancing at all, then this is an even stupider discussion than it already appeared to be.
