Non biased, right now the hierarchy is: Bama, and Georgia in the first tier. Auburn, LSU, Florida, A&M and Tennessee in the second tier. Then the rest are in the third tier. That might end up being the pecking order this season.

What are we basing this on? Current year? "Recent" success? Overall history?
Either way, wrong.

Why should SC be in the second tier?

Vols are the bottom of the barrel where they belong.

3 of these teams have won 10+ games in a season since expansion, 2 have won their division, and 1 has won the conference.

If this is football only, your rankings appear to be correct.

Georgia had one good season. The only program in tier one right now is Bama. LSU and Florida are the only ones that were there with them in the recent past.

Again, based on what?
Current? Tennessee in "2nd tier" is laughable. Florida too until they prove it, but I can understand it at least.
Overall? Georgia in 1st is equally laughable.
"Recent"? Again with the whole Tennessee thing

Based on how recent each program has won their division or has won 10 games or has won the SEC.

Although Tennessee has sucked for years, their body of work puts them in tier one.
If Bama didn’t get Saban, we’d probably having the same discussion with Tennessee’s and Bama’s positions flipped. And I say that with hating Tennessee in every bone in my body.

Yes, if overall. I agree. But they're in tier 2. Which brings loads of questions that OP just answered bringing a ton more questions

Agreed. Not trying to kick the Vols while they are down but its been quite some time since the Vols have done anything of note. You could make a solid argument they aren't in the top half of the East going into this season, much less the entire conference.

They haven’t sucked for years they just won 10 games year before last. They sucked last year, yes. The years before that, Butch was trying to bring them back and couldn’t get it completely done. Everyone shits on Butch but IMO, he was trying to bring them back from the dead and got them halfway there.
