Honestly only Young seems to pop. Would they dare give it to the same guy twice? Or is it guaranteed to go to some other conference next year?

Have we supplanted the Jefferson throwing away the BCS title gif now?

That's GREAT.

Heard a rumor Stetson is no longer with the team. Poor guy had to get a job at Cane's

Now the 2nd best QB in the East.

Young would be considered. Maybe Bowers if he has a huge year and the season plays out in such a way that resembles 2020 when Smith won it.

At this point, I'd make a too early guess on CJ Stroud (I know not SEC, but that's who I think will have the most hype at the start of next year).

Just a popularity contest, often not awarded to the best player. I’ll guess Stroud next year. For SEC, Young/Anderson.

Will Anderson or Jahmyr Gibbs. But they won’t give it to Bama a 3rd straight year.

Shot in the dark Imma say Caleb Williams goes to USC and they win the Pac12 and make CFP. Williams wins it based on USC/Lincoln Riley Hype

That’s a good guess.

What is the longest Heisman streak for a school?

And while we're here what is the most in a defined amount of time, like say 5 or 10 years?

Because Alabama is on an absurd bender of Heisman trophies and I really wouldn't bet against them to add another next year.

My money is on Stroud. He and their next group of WRs looked completely in sync in the Rose Bowl.

Alabama will have more dynamic running backs, new WRs and (hopefully) a better run game. I'd guess his "total" numbers aren't high as good next year.

BY was an absolute stud in the NC game. He lost his #1 and #2 WRs and was throwing to Slade Bolden and a couple of freshmen. Multiple drops on DIME passes. He honestly was brilliant while getting punched in the mouth repeatedly. His dudes just didn’t catch the ball (along with killer DB play by UGA). He’ll be a multimillionaire in two years.

Young, unless something bad happens.

And it could.

Yet we beat you with Freshman. The last three tds were all by freshmen Bowers, Mitchell and Ringo...

Stop with the dumb excuses...

Don't think he was making excuses for losing, I think he was noting that some Alabama players struggled and didn't make plays on some great throws by the QB. Guys dropped 2 huge plays. That's not an excuse for losing anymore than saying "Joe whiffed a block" is.

All season. He's the best player in college football. At least to me.

This discussion isn't about winning or losing the damn game, it's about an individual players play.
