For me, it has to be LSU…in Misssissippi, if you ask locals who their favorite teams are, it will go like this: Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and then USM, LSU, and Alabama all have about the same number of supporters…brother, in Louisiana, you don’t even have to ask the question.

I will also mention South Carolina fans…they rarely have good teams, but they ALWAYS show up to support the ‘Cocks.

Arkansas fans are in the mix too…they love their Hogs.

South Carolina fans. They have such rabid fandom for so little history.

Plus they were the best visitor fan base I’ve ever encountered in college.

Honestly have really never had a bad interaction with fans of any team outside of a stadium.

Definitely the most interaction with LSU fans from teams currently in the SEC. Same goes for the coming new SEC teams.

South Carolina fans for sure. I think I remember reading that they averaged 77,000 fans per game even in their 0-11 season in 1999.

I am partial to Arkansas. They are absolute trolls with a good sense of humor but also grounded in reality. Their antics are cheeky and fun rather than petty and mean. Sail on, Flagship.

I tried to pick a fight with some visiting Vanderbilt fans several years back.

It was the weirdest thing too. Those dudes all started reaching for their wallets for some strange reason.

.aggys. Anyone who can subscribe to a lifetime cult and believe that they are elite and relevant even though they are laughed at and irrelevant deserves respect.

Always had great interactions with Arky fans, regardless of location or circumstances. The Hogs are fun people, and I miss the annual series. Glad we're playing again this year.

Side note, regarding USC's lack of history. Leaving the 2010 USC/Alabama game, one Bama fan was talking on the way out the stadium. He said "you rednecks should act like you've been here before." Carolina fan behind him yelled, "frick you, we haven't." Bama fan just laughed, cos it was painfully true.

They probably thought your raggedy, broke Arkansas arse was panhandling.

I don't know. It was weird. I honestly don't remember too much of it.

All I know is I wasn't in a mood to listen to them run their mouths.
