That may be a good thing.

New guys on defense are hungry. Last years guys were just waiting for the NFL, except Jarvis and Tree had his moments. Rambo really fricking pissed me off especially when I was sitting in cock stadium and watched Ace Sanders(I think) rip an interception out of his hands. Glad
Jenkins fat arse is gone too.

LOL
We improved our ppg from 2011 to 2012.
Aside from wins and losses, that is the only stat that matters defensively.

You guys didn't.
Do you ever ask yourselves what direction you are taking without Ellis Johnson?

All of your stats are trending for the worst.
I know it was only one season.
But if it happens for a second and you are again on the outside at the CCG, what are you going to be saying among your fanbase?

UGA's offense disagrees.

On my phone but I'm pretty sure we were really high in total offense last year. And scoring.

I'm not calling it. But I'm warning it.

Willie Martinez 2.0 over there in Columbia.
After the first year, the defense is very good. But there are signs where the attention to detail and ability to keep teams off the score board may be slipping.

Keep an eye out for year 2.
Still good. But noticeably worse. And this time around, it might create more losses.

S.Car gave up 16 ppg in conference in 2011.
S.Car gave up 21.1 ppg in conference in 2012.

S.Car gave up 268 ypg in conference in 2011.
S.Car gave up 302 ypg in conference in 2012.

How confident are you that you are going to rebound in 2013?
How well did you think of Ellis Johnson when he was on the sidelines?
Any chance that this isn't a blip. It isn't a coincidence?

We'll see. We lost 3 starters to the draft and a couple more by way of graduation so yeah I imagine we'll see some sort of learning curve early on regardless of who are DC is.

Ward is a fine coach who seems willing to adjust to what offenses are doing, a pleasant change from Ellis. As long as he can recruit we'll be fine.

I think he's a good coach as well.
But that was exactly the reason that Willie Martinez was promoted to DC. Good coach. Not good defensive coordinator.

It'll be interesting to watch. That's for sure.

I predict that Tennessee will replace South Carolina as the 3rd best team in the East.

Vanderbilt will fall back to the wayside, even though they will beat Ole Miss.

South Carolina without Lattimore.

Connor Shaw sophomore slump.

New excited Vol team with new coach pull off some wins against teams they aren't supposed to beat.

What says the rant? Who will be 3rd in the East?

Connor Shaw is a senior this year.

We've been without Lattimore more of the past two seasons.

We're loaded, even if you took Clowney out of the mix, we're loaded.

Georgia will be lucky to finish third in the East this season.

False. Yall have lost at least 4 Eastern division games. 3 to USC and 1 to UF in 2010

In 2010 UGA also managed to lose to a 5-7 (2-6 Big 12) Colorado squad....

Kentucky > Colorado

P.S. Since we're not rivals I'm always surprised by these threads

My bad. Thanks for the pick me up on that.

Yup. Freshman QB and new defense.
That rebuilding year was worth it, though.

4th year starter at QB coming back.
And we now have a defense that was recruited for this scheme.

Nobody asked for your excuses, and your defense still sucked balls this year

Not an excuse. just a reality. Had to pay our dues.

Our defense has improved in ppg each of the past 3 seasons.

Not many teams can say that.
Absolutely not you guys taking a step back last season without Ellis Johnson as your DC. But again... that would be an excuse. wouldn't it?
