As a conference(tbd on UT), we did well. All were solid hires and the SEC again should have the best coaches in the nation.

This year went well...last year, not so much!

Tenn wrecked their program to get Fulmer as a head figure. That's a win in their book; a winner hasn't even been associated with the program in 20 years.

I concur and Tennessee will end up with a good, serviceable coaching staff. And I'm including Edward Orgeron in the good coaches catagory and I'm keeping a notebook of all LSU posters that have proclaimed Coach O will never succeed as HC of LSU. When O gets them to Atlanta, I'll make that thread.

Still on the fence about the Ark hire of Morris. I do think Morris has an upside but the hire has a lazy feel to it. Arkansas, imo, could have done a lot better.

So sad the conference struck out on Leach.

are you serious? Or like 8 years old?
In the not too distant past you had Saban, Meyer, Miles, Richt, Spurrier, Fulmer, and Petrino all in the league at the same time.

I don’t think we made much of an improvement. I was hoping to get a few big names guys in the conference this year . I thought we would have a shot to get Petrino , Kiffin , leach or maybe even Kelly or Gruden.
