Coaching salaries should be no higher than the salary of the highest paid professor.

You realize the purpose of a University, right? I understand that so many of your fans do not ever realize education is attached to that football team.

There are two with the hardware to justify not taking one.

Or, maybe, a football program as successful as Alabama's directly and indirectly supports the education of thousands, if not tens of thousands, more students each year than if the football program didn't exist. Nick Saban is underpaid.

I said "with the hardware to justify not taking a pay cut."

Jimbo's NC at FSU years ago does not justify his not taking a pay cut at Aggy.

XC & T&F.
I have no problem with some guy making $7 mil/year to win 8 games taking a pay-cut, especially when his job isn’t bringing in any revenue right now either.

What’s the return on that investment now, smart guy? What’s it going to be in December when we still haven’t played a fricking game?

How does it work? If there is no season or a shortened season, do the coaches still get their full salary?
