Games that brought in the largest television audiences since 2008:

1. Florida-Alabama (2009)- 17.97 million
2. Alabama-Georgia (2018)- 17.50 million
3. Alabama-Georgia (2012)- 16.20 million
4. Florida-Alabama (2008)- 15.06 million
5. Auburn-Missouri (2013)- 14.35 million
6. LSU-Georgia (2019)- 13.70 million
7. Georgia-Auburn (2017)- 13.46 million
8. Alabama-Missouri (2014)- 12.80 million
9. Alabama-Florida (2015)- 12.76 million
10. Alabama-Florida (2016)- 11.03 million
11. Auburn-S. Carolina (2010)- 10.09 million
12. Alabama-Florida (2020)- 8.92 million

Will be interesting to see what viewership numbers this game brings in. If its a competitive game down to the very end, I think 16 million is very possible. If its lopsided from the beginning, I think 13 million is likely.

Viewership will be higher if people think Alabama might lose.

Unfortunately the game is irrelevant this year. If UGA loses they still win. If BAMA loses they get a BAMA mulligan because everyone in CFB sucks this year. What point is there to it?

Not this year. I think it will be higher if BAMA looks like they might win. Right now, people think UGA will run away with it.

Big10 has been smashing ratings this fall. I’m sure the Michigan Ohio State game will be highest rated games this year. The noon slot games have actually been a home run for ratings.

Florida was coming off the shoe toss game a week prior that ruined their playoff hopes, and it was a 35-17 game at Halftime. It wasn’t particularly competitive until the very end of the 3rd quarter, and even then - Bama was up by 2 TDs with 4 minutes left in the game.

Kind of amazed Mullin had a top 10 recruiting class last year, played for an SEC title and was fired.

Not at all shocking, considering that most of the country outside of Alabama knew it wasn't a real season.

Many big10 stadiums didnt have lights until recently. Noon was a customary kickoff for years at Michigan and Ohio State. Ohio stste did not get permanent lights until 1999ish.

They are all old.

In terms of plunking my arse on the couch and watching football I prefer the noon game as Saturday shite going on normally happens mid-afternoon to night.

shite goes downhill fast in this conference. Orgeron & Chizik were both fired 2 yrs removed from a NC seasons with Heisman winners. HC's are on a short leash when salaries are this high.

It was also a Saturday night like 5 days before xmas

Game being played 2 weeks later than usual probably had an effect so close to the holidays with travel and Christmas parties

I remember the 2001 game was a week later than usual and close to Christmas because of 9/11 but i don’t have any idea what the ratings were on tNite LSU broke Tennessee
