SEC Champions Not Invited to BCS NCG

In the BCS era, what SEC teams have won the SEC but not invited to play for NC? I can only think of Georgia... happened twice under Richt.

Interesting. All of those teams, except one, has a National Championship since then.

Another item of note... am I correct in stating that since then, every SEC champion has not only gone on to the BCS CG, but won it. Right?

the SEC is 9-1 in BCSNCGs I believe

I think UGA has a chance to change that this year. I know y'all lost a ton on defense but honestly I don't think this year's d will be much worse than last year's. Sure, there was name power but no one was really intimidated by them. With all that's coming back on offense I expect UGA to beat USC, LSU and UF. Just gotta beat the west champ and y'all will be there.

Yeah yeah yeah... but in my lifetime.... I'm class of 02... the more preseason hype, the shittier the season for the Dawgs. Clockwork.

I feel you on that one. If y'all get by Clemson and USCe though it's game over in the east at least.

I just don't see UF repeating what they did last year. Muschamp is doing a great job but I don't think he's gonna win any championships with Driskel at QB. It's gonna make me sick losing 3 in row to the Dawgs, though.
