Thanks
Any ruling on if both of these guys will be back for their 8th years of eligibility next season?

Duplantis should easily be eligible for a couple medical red shirts.

Meh, Duplantis is a power hitter now. Frick average. Chicks dig the long ball

Mangum is nearing State Mandatory Retirement. Won't be the same without him

That would be Zack Watson. I’m damn near 50 and I know he was playing for LSU when I turned 40.

This could come down to whoever makes it farthest in the post season. LSU seems to be righting the ship and no doubt Duplantis will tighten up the race.

Mangum went 5-6 last night, with 3 singles, 1 double and a triple. He brought his batting average up to .396 on the season. If he gets as many AB’s this season as he did his SO and JR years(average of 283), he could bat .214 for the rest of the season and still beat the all time SEC hit record.

He is currently 16 hits ahead of Duplantis.

Jake is going to run away with this. He's seeing cabbage balls right now.

I swear LSU fans are going to have to hire a sniper to take him out. Nothing fatal. Just a flesh wound to keep him out a few weeks.
