Offensive numbers make sense, seeing that we’ve played the toughest schedule

Someone commented on another thread to check KenPom's defense and offense numbers to see how you stack up. If I'm reading it right, which is questionable in itself because holy hell with all those numbers on there, our def is ranked 47th and I don't see us on any of these def lists either you have.
Anyway, to my eyes our defense looks much improved but maybe I have razorback colored glasses on? Or was it that bad that it really is improved just still not very high?

Our offense is silky smooth efficient, the advanced numbers look really nice on it.
Defensively...it's coming along some
But we're shooting 62.2% from 2, with a team that has no big man depth whatsoever. That's pretty crazy. #2 in the country. We're mid-pack in the country in FTA per game too, so despite driving to the bucket a metric shite ton, we're not getting the calls for doing it.

Yeah, his 6-19 on 3's for the season is killing Alabama.

The only team that is tips in both offensive and defensive stats is Kentucky. Everyone else are studs offensively or studs defensively.

Which is strange because they've been fairly unimpressive overall, a lot of close wins over mid-majors. Although, their schedule has been pretty easy so far, about to ramp up.

A&ms game last night isnt included yet or else they would be 5th in offense at 83ppg. kenpom is a more comprehensive measure anyway and has (nationally) A&M 25th O, 3rd D. Kentucky 26th O, 12th D. Florda 23rd O, 25th D.

So what I gather is we don't know shite yet. Bama is listed in 1 category, AU/LSU several. But the schedules aren't comparable. It's as evident as it almost always is, we don't know much about the conference at this point. (sans those playing a tough schedule)
I will say, I feel pretty good about AU, even down two of our best. The fact they're ranking in FT/Rebounds, regardless of competition, is telling that maybe there is a fire lit under Bruce's arse. AU has been downright terrible in both since he's been there.
