It's a shame Bama can't play solid enough ball to make the dance yearly. Seems they have OK talent, but Bama looks solid one second, and then they're looking hopeless in other games. They're the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of college basketball. I won't lie, it would be awesome to see Bama making SEC & NCAA tournament runs like they did under old Wimp Sanderson. Bama basketball rocked back then, and I think Bama reached 6 sweet 16 appearances. Plus, Bama won some SEC tournaments under Whip Sanderson. That was then and this is now....lol
Tennessee is having a great year, and I hope an SEC program can win the dance. We'll see what happens, but it's looking like Tenn, LSU, or Kentucky is the SEC's best chance to win the dance.

Tune in Tuesday to see another February collapse from Avery's team.

I remember those Bama teams... Buck Johnson, Bobby Lee Hurt, Enos Whatley, Eddie Phillips.... Those are the names that stick out to me.

Those standings are incorrect. LSU is currently the 1 seed based on the head to head common opponent tiebreaker against Kentucky.

The Ole Miss-SC game actually does kind of matter for SEC T seeding and BYEs

If two teams are tied and split their head to head match ups or haven’t played you take their record against the highest seeded team and go through until you find a difference. That would be Kentucky. LSU is 1-0. Tennessee is 0-1. LSU is the 1 seed.

Two-Team Tie
The following procedure will be used in the following order until the tie is broken:
1. Won-lost results of head-to-head competition between the two teams.
2. Won-lost record of the two teams versus the No. 1 seed (and proceeding through the No. 14 seed, if necessary).
3. Coin flip by the Commissioner.

That damn half court alley oop pass only thing keeping LSU from 12-0.. still stings

It looks like they used the SEC records then sorted it by overall record. Which makes it incorrect.

I'm excited about the game. We don't really have anything to lose in this game since we beat Auburn on the road. I think it's a must win game for USCe though. Pressure is on the gamecocks so hopefully our guys will relax and just play ball.
