Today was... ugh. Reason for changing #1 is that the supposed best team in the conference should never blow a 6 point lead with a minute left due to 3 straight turnovers on inbounding plays and having a 90% FT shooter miss a 1-in-1 with 20 seconds remaining. Complete clusterfrick.

1) Missouri
2) Florida
3) Kentucky
4) Ole Miss
5) Alabama
6) Tennessee
7) LSU
8) Texas A&M
9) South Carolina
10) Arkansas
11) Auburn
12) Vanderbilt
13) Mississippi State
14) Georgia

I haven't watched Tennessee, but they certainly have to be better than us

Their offense is laughable. It's splitting hairs

Boise took the Tigers to the boom boom room. O'Bryant was on the bench with fouls for a large portion and Hickey didn't get to play the first half (possibly the end of a 1.5 game suspension)... I'm optimistic for our future but an NIT bid would be a success for this team. They simply are out manned for the most part but they have some nice young pieces.

Y'all lost to a top 10 team on the road and y'all weren't outplayed.

Florida still #1 in conference.
2. Mizzou
2a. Kentucky
4. Arkansas
5. Alabama
5a. Tennessee
7. Ole Miss

The rest. A pitiful lot.

They played with a good Syracuse team. They played with a good Michigan team.

It really speaks to the weakness of the league than anything else. Who are you going to put ahead of them? They aren't losing to Boise State. Or Iona. Or Loyola. Or MTSU.

Lowest you can put them is 6. But I think they're better than Tennessee. And I think they are better than Bama.

Georgia might be one of the worst teams in SEC history.

This. Mizzou might be as low as 4th right now...we lost our most important player and we haven't figured out how to play without him yet

Yea, laugh. Sorry for not playing Louisiana School for the Deaf.

3 of 4 losses came against ranked teams. The other is 9-2.

I know LSU would trounce Michigan or Syracuse though.

I mean i know you cant compare scores but we beat OU by 3 and A&M lost to them by 10. I think we should be around #8 right now...could finish higher because the SEC is pretty bad

We're in the same boat. Bama will live and die by the 3 this year, which is scary. We have zero presence in the post and our all-world freshman has looked pedestrian so far. I feel like we have one of the better PG in the country but as a team bama is way too streaky

Um...MTSU won 27 games last year and we lost by 3 on the road. We have beaten everyone else by 15+. We have to be ranked higher than Bama, LSU and Ark

I wouldn't call Dixon our best player. I'd argue Pressey and Bowers are more important to the team. Yes, a lot of pressure is now on Jabari Brown, but we should still be OK.

I wouldn't put us lower than 3rd. And I still think Florida is the best team in the league right now. A loss on the road to a top 10 team isn't that big a deal. Sucks they let it slip away like that, but still not a bad loss.

Eh. It's one place difference. You haven't played anybody yet, really. Rutgers lost their first game of the season to St Peters (whoever the Frick they are).
