Got dang that man drips in the coaching box, but how does Jerry Stackhouse still have a job?

I don't understand how they don't win more games. They run good stuff and have decent players. Everytime I watch them against good teams I think "that's a pretty solid squad" and yet they also lose to Grambling.

They are too scared to fire him?

Agreed, he likes that five-out spacing with drives and kicks, but there's something that's slightly off.

IMO he emphasizes touches a bit too much. Waiting on the perfect screen and always looking for bailouts is great, but that "one extra pass" is almost disruptive at times. Defensively, they try to be so aggressive, they miss weak-side coverages.

Maybe the decent players just need to be better players.

Either way, he obviously inherited an atrocious program, and they've had some terrible injury luck, but damn, he's been in a "rebuild" going on four years now.

They would have given us a much more stressful game if their big man wasn't hurt last night

but your right Vandy is always just missing that one last piece each season to really make a run at the tournament
