Surprised we are ahead of Vandy. Hopefully, we figure it out soon.

At this point, barring some type of disaster, I believe Alabama, Tennessee, Mizzou, LSU, and Florida appear to be locks for the NCAA Tournament.

All five have a NET in the Top 30. LSU has just one Q1 win, but all the others have multiple. Alabama is the only team in the group with an OOC Q3 or Q4 loss, but they have the best overall resume.

Arkansas is likely in at this point, but they still have a lot to prove IMO. A NET of #38 is pretty good, but they have zero Q1 wins. They played about as soft of an OOC schedule as one could possibly play, so that's not going to impress any committee members.

Their four Q1 games have all come against other SEC teams and they've lost those contests by 5, 13, 16, and 31 points, respectively. They get four more chances in the regular season to beat one of these Top 5 SEC teams. I think they have to win at least one of those to prove they belong in the Field of 68. If they finish 0-8 against those Top Tier SEC teams I'm not sure how they get a bid.

Just want to say that the subtle moving of the 3 point line back a little more to international distance has been perfect to get out 5-out motion stuff off and running. The spread offense is as real in college basketball as the HUNH RPO stuff in football. Chasing in space by these big brutes in the middle is going to give upcoming opponents continued pause. So far, not many SEC teams are ready for a true small-ball experience.

Nate Oats has got us looking like vintage Golden State on a good day. And with BAMA's defense and speed on fast breaks and dribble-drive remain a menace even when the 3 is not dropping.

God Alabama's team is fricking good. Beat the frick out of us and couldn't miss a shot. Hope in the rematch LSU can put up a much better fight than they did last night. It was embarrassing and awkward to watch.

Alabama looks like Kentucky 1996. 5 shooters on the floor and playing a different game than the opponent. Except that 1996 team pressed a lot. But the energy, the shooting and the up tempo play are reminiscent. I am jealous.

To be fair, it was very much Bama's night. A lot of our 3s in the initial barrage were contested. I dont think you can take too much away from the opening 10 minutes

It's hell trying to catch up with scheme and talent, that's for sure. It seems like the college game has been trying to play a little more small-ball these days. Villanova had a lot of spread in their offensive approach in their last 2 NC runs. I would say, Bama's spread approach is a little more extreme than that.

Yep, was a dumb move for what they were trying to accomplish. That’s nowhere near enough distance to throw a shooter off after a little practice and it has put defenses in a bind with more space to cover.

Just waiting for college folks to widen the free throw lane NBA style.

Alabama Basketball is like going to that restaurant everyone talks up, takes you a month just to get in... only to find that the food is just okay.

As much as I'm loving this season so far, I'm just waiting for the wheel to come off. Alabama Basketball has hurt me too many times.

With all the cheating, Wade is having trouble beating a football school's bball team.

Does Stackhouse survive if he goes winless in conference play, or even if he repeats a 3-15 campaign?
