Bringing 12 teams in is going to equate to some really shitty baseball.
While Vanderbilt and LSU are way out in front of the standings, there's not much that separates #3-9. It is 10-14 that's really bringing up the rear.

Just 4 others MLB stadiums. Dodgers, Angels, A's and Royals.

Im 110% for moving the SEC baseball tourney to Memphis and AutoZone Park
Or just across the mountain to the Barons new downtown stadium in Birmingham.

Not if the neighborhood is as bad as people say. I hear there are stabbings, muggings, and shootings there all of the time in that part of B'Ham.
Don' get me wrong, Memphis has tons of crime, but its pretty safe around AutoZone/Peabody/FedEx area

You often can't trust what Birmingham area people say about downtown because it's always painted in the absolute worst light. Legion Field is in a MUCH MUCH worse area than the new Barons stadium and people manage to get home in one piece from there. The new stadium is actually in a decent area and has a couple of breweries across the street. The new Baron's stadiums only problem is it doesn't seat enough to host some of the crowds that the Hoover Met or a ballpark like Autozone Park could hold.

I'd rather bitch about the NCAA selection committee screwing LSU a couple years ago. I'm pretty sure someone from Mississippi St was the head of the committee that year, so frick State.
I lol'd ... and this is why I love the SECr.
