Coach might pitch Glenn first, then Nola in 2nd game.
As a fan, that's what I'm hoping.

That Worked out well earlier this year. Watching him and NOLA duke it out was great baseball.
I hope we pitch Glenn Wednesday.
Mainieri has already said Nola is pitching Wednesday. He's not going to throw anyone on short rest, which is what he'd be doing if Glenn threw Wednesday.

LSU's rotation will be:
Nola - GM 1
Glenn - GM 2
McCune/whole staff - GM 3
Eades - GM 4
Something to that effect.

Hopefully we can jump out big early and rest Nola for 5-7 innings.

Why is Arkansas RPI so bad?
Posted on 5/19/13 at 9:43 am to bamafan1001
Swept in Arizona swept in Nebraska, some bad midweek opponents, and generally losing games they shouldn't.

Also playing a series with UNO and Mississippi Valley St. (dead last in RPI).
Their OOC schedule is one of the biggest jokes on the planet.

The good thing about it this year for us at least is if we win our first game we get Stanek against likely LSU for the 2nd game. So we'd be giving them our best shot.
Ole Miss probably beats Arkansas if Arkansas tries to save Stanek for LSU.
Posted on 5/20/13 at 12:38 am to dawgM2
If it falls like that, I think pitching wins it for us against Bama on Saturday, but I could see us losing to Arky if Stanek pitches Thursday. I would not be all that upset if we get knocked out before Eades gets a chance to pitch, so he can rest a week. Don't think that is likely though with Nola pitching Wed.
Posted on 5/20/13 at 12:43 am to dawgM2
Bama doesnt have the pitching depth to win this tournament... I really think LSU and Vandy play in the final with the #1 overall seed on the line.
Posted on 5/20/13 at 12:47 am to reggierayreb
You are probably right, but in tournaments like this I like picking teams that aren't expected to win. LSU/Vandy definitely makes more sense, and I would love to see that match-up.
