.985 fielding is just silly. Our defense has won us games this year. Really an incredibly solid defensive team.

Those HR stats are wrong. Way wrong. Not sure where you pulled those numbers from.

How the hell did Bama beat Arkansas?

If MSU continues to be good Cannizaro has to be shoe in for COY with the amount of pitching injuries the team has had.

Gamecock pitching held Rooker to 2 hits in 10 AB, 2 strikeouts, 2 walks, in the series. he had a solo hr in first AB Gm 1 and singled to SS in first AB Gm 2. that's it.
4 painfully bad errors leading to 4 unearned runs in the first 2 games - the undoing of Carolina's solid starting pitching on the weekend.
- bobbled ball by 2B that eliminated an inning-ending DP.
- 3B muffed a throw from P on fielded bunt.
- a 3rd out, dropped fly ball by our 3 year starting JR in LF.
- and finally, a career Catcher muffed a throw while playing 1B for his first time ever (Holbrook's personal baseball genie must have popped out of his Cheerwine bottle and suggested that brilliant move)

Y'all pitched around Rooker while we kept pitching to Cortes. I don't know why we continued doing that but it was sunday and the series had already been clinched.

Damn. Hogs are tearing it up on both offense and defense. Will be interesting to see if our pitching can hold up this weekend.

Congrats on holding Rooker 'in check'
Who won the series?

Our defense would be even better if not for the liability of Shaddy and his 12 errors but DVH isn't making a change because his bat.

I think it a case of Rooker coming down to earth a little.

Thanks for taking time to put these stats together. Great stuff.
Especially since the Hogs are leading all the offensive categories and the overall WL standings
But, it is only at the halfway mark. Baseball has a way of evening things out. You can never take your foot off the gas.
WPS!!!!!!!

The series with Auburn should be good.
They have 2 stud pitchers with stupid low ERA's against our GORILLA BATS
