It has to be Scott Stricklin at UGA, right?

After 4 straight losing seasons, he has UGA baseball in the top 3 of the SEC with the likelihood of hosting a regional and a good shot at a national seed. For all the good work O'Sullivan has done at UF putting them back in contention for another CWS run, has there been a more impressive coaching performance than Stricklin in the league this year?

Yeah I think so. Only other possible winners would be Bianco at Ole Miss or Sullivan at Florida.

Not even close.

After winning the natty last year, coach at UF didn't allow his team to get complacent. They are ranked #1, have completely dominated their SEC schedule, and took at least 2 games from GA this weekend. If you need a moral victory, be thankful UGA took one game this weekend.

Are you high?

O'Sullivan is COTY easily.

It's a lot easier to do that when you return most of your team, a team that won the national title last year.

he's not high. Stricklin will probably win it. Does Nick Saban win the COY in football every time he wins the conference? (he's only won it 4 times in 16 years as an SEC coach)

Georgia has gone from 11-19 and 12th in the SEC in 2017 to, thus far, 16-11 in the conference and 2nd in the SEC.

So of the two coaching jobs, you think taking a team with the best hitter in the league and two of the best pitchers from last year's national championship team to repeat as conference champs is more impressive than taking a team that hasn't had a winning season in 4 years and hasn't made the NCAA tournament in 6 to top 3 in the SEC with its two best players likely making second team All SEC?

Stricklin for sure, scary what he might accomplish once he gets more of his people in the pipeline and I’m sure recruiting will get easier after this year.
