Tennessee doesn’t walk much which says they are strike throwers. Bodes well for lsu hitters this weekend.

Y’all either walk or strikeout. I could tell skenes wasn’t used to baserunners.. but naturally everyone pitches better from windup. He was fun to watch. Sweep the Vols! Go hogs

Pretty nuts that Skene's almost doubled his season BBs total in one inning against Arkansas. He had 4 BBs coming into the game and had all 3 he had against Arkansas in the 6th inning. However, he didn't allow any runs. Pitching from the stretch hasn't really been a problem for him, though. He just got out of sorts for a minute.

He wasn’t used to walking. Probably messed up his head a little bit. Either way, best college pitcher I’ve seen. Jealous y’all got him. I know we pursued him hard. He came to y’all because of Wes. Which stings even more as a hog fan. But, pulling for y’all this weekend. LSU is an amazing team. Good luck

Interesting stats; thanks for posting. Some of the "total number" stats (as opposed to "percentage" stats) will obviously be affected by how many 7-inning games a team has played, regardless of whether they are on the winning or losing side of that equation. I don't if there is a way to factor that into the stats or if there are enough such games to really matter. I know LSU has played what seems to be a fairly high number of them but I have no idea how many the other SEC teams have played.

We are amazing at drawing walks. Combined with our home run hitting it may be a slaughter in Starkville this week if they don’t get their shite together
