SEC (National) Team - Per Game (% Capacity)
1(3) Texas A&M - 103,655 (100.9%)
2(4) Alabama - 99,141 (97.4%)
3(6) Lsu - 95,124 (93.0%)
4(8) Georgia - 92,746 (100.0%)
5(9) Florida - 88,116 (99.5%)
6(10) Tennessee - 87,692 (85.6%)
7(12) Auburn - 85,624 (97.9%)
8(18) South Carolina - 67,588 (84.2%)
9(20) Arkansas - 64,945 (90.2%)
10(26) Kentucky - 57,726 (94.6%)
11(28) Ole Miss - 56,012 (87.5%)
12(38) Miss St - 48,817 (79.6%)
13(43) Missouri - 46,741 (77.7%)
14(86) Vanderbilt - 23,068 (57.2%)

-7 of the top 12 nationally is really impressive.
-8 of 14 with >90% capacity
-The fact South Carolina keeps showing up is awesome or sad. I am not sure which.
-I think Lsu and UF are nice that they sold so many season tickets because I don't think anywhere near that # is showing up.
-Georgia, yall ever gunna expant to the 6 digit club?

Nope. Everything is trending away from live sports. Better view, cheaper alcohol, conditioned air, and comfortable seating at home. A lot of places are actually decreasing the number of seats in favor of premium seating to enhance the experience.

I assume standing room or putting up some temp seating when students pull more tickets than allotted.

Our attendance has been atrocious and I don’t understand why. We sold out when Mullen was here even on down years

Every game has been close win or lose except Bama but fans don’t seem interested. Maybe they don’t like Leachs style I dunno. I find the games exciting

Impressive attendance, congrats. To be over 100 percent, do you have some guys sitting on each other's laps?

That's probably happening at 75% too

Georgia will never full enclose the West Endzone due to the bridge there, but mostly to keep the fantastic views from the West looking into the stadium.

UGA has considered possibly extending the 3rd level on around the circumfernce of the stadium to where it would meet the Luxury Suites on the South Side of Sanford. If they ever do, it would bring the seating capacity up to around 102,000-105,000.

But, I doubt if UGA decides to expand again soon, if ever, in the midst of all schools struggling to just get people to come to the games & TV, etc.

It is possible to do both.

Cheap seats work great for families to experience a game and get used up for the biggest games.

Bunch of fairweather fans missing out on Leach's halftime comedy routine.

Why would anyone do that now? Alabama actually reduced capacity after the most recent upgrades.

The Ole Miss vs Liberty game surprised me a little. Hugh Freeze wasn't the apparent draw I thought he would be.

They're on each other's laps.

Bouncing costs extra (helping to secure that Jimbo buy out if this year turns out to be a fluke).

I was at the LSU game Saturday sitting in the North Zone section of BDS. I could see maybe 500-1000 empty seats in the south upper deck for most of the game and that’s about it. Otherwise it was packed. I’d say 98-99,000 is a good number. Don’t know what the official attendance was.

Anyone find it shocking that LSU fans are making fun of A&M for going over capacity on average? That is something the SEC can add to their list of bragging rights

The concourse has had lots of fans standing while watching the games. Lots of guests on the side lines.

If you've watched an LSU home game this season, it's clear to see there aren't 95,000 butts in the stands.

If you are below 85.7% you should be cut from the conference
