How will that work if these conferences go to a modified schedule? I know in the state of S.C., it’s actually a written law that Clemson and South Carolina play every year without interruption. Are the other in state games the same?

Do you really want us to play Clemson this year?

The law isn’t gonna matter in the current situation.

I read that Clemson is required by law to play another South Carolina team (like Furman or the Citadel)? Is that the case for SC too? I'm guessing y'all would want out of that

There's a rotating schedule of in-state FCS teams that South Carolina and Clemson play. This includes the Citadel, SC State, Furman, Wofford, Presbyterian and Charleston Southern.

If there were grown men running it, the regular schedule should be in play.
Sadly, it’s not.
Sadly, it’s not.

The only rivalry games that are actually competitive are in conference:
Egg Bowl
Iron Bowl
Mizzou vs Ark
Tenn vs Vand
The rest of the league’s rivalry week games are not competitive.

I'm guessing you've never watched a Georgia-Georgia Tech game.

Florida-Florida State not competitive?

Apparently less so than UT/Vandy

Not since Jimbo destroyed Florida State athletics.

Thank God that south Carolina doesn't have to play the citadel again this year then.

Do these count as strength of schedule for 4 teams & tough for the other 10 teams?

Makes 0 sense. They weren't on our schedule to begin with. 0/10 troll attempt.

Not destroyed, a setback yes. But whatever FSU is, better than Moo State.

There is no law but "resolution"
was passed requiring SC and Clemson to play and there's no requirements for smaller SC schools.
