Which athletics department has he caused more damage to: LSU or Texas A&M?

Not hiring Billy Napier was a big mistake. Could have gotten him much cheaper also.

Based on what, one game?

LSU is in a rebuild, Brian Kelly was the most proven coach available who can rebuild a program.

The restaurants, food trucks, and Piggly Wigglys in Baton Rouge are clearly benefiting from Woodward’s presence.

Between the contracts he's given to Brian Kelly and Jimbo Fisher, he has put both schools in difficult financial holes that will be hard to dig out of. LSU and A&M both are stuck with their coaches for a while.

You have to blame Bjork for Jimbo at this point, they gave him an extension and raise last year.

Brian Kelly's success was built off a creampuff schedule and a huge talent advantage against 90% of his opponents.

In games with equal talent he is below .500

He is the new Bert.

If Jimbo doesn't get in the playoffs in the next year or two he will be gone regardless of what he is owed. Hell we spent 30 million on one recruiting class, you think a buy out twice that size is an issue?

Some AD's seem to take a page out of professional sports GM's book, give a high dollar long term contract to an aging big name star only to be stuck with a past their prime player that's untradeable.

Notre Dame plays a top 20 SOS nearly every year, that's hardly a "creampuff."

Arkansas' 2021 SOS was like #15 and Notre Dame's was like #21

This.

It’s hilarious that FSU took him to OT last year. They knew they’d have his number the 2nd time around this year.

For God’s sake, with a stacked roster last year he only beat Tulsa by 3 points AT HOME.

Said it before FSU game and I’ll keep saying it - when the talent is even close to even, BK gets stomped. Which is why he is going to get absolutely dominated in the SEC.

BK will go down as one of the worst hires ever. Gonna flop in a big way.

Probably very true for LSU. But when you have bags of money, buying out a $100M contract is no problem for the 12th Man Athletic fund.

We love the jealousy of Jimbo. Keep it coming.

Napier was the clear hire. Scott's dumbass had to have a big name splash hire. No consideration to a cultural fit or investigation into the personality of the HC. Kelly is a POS of a human being. Tigers are stuck with medocrity for years to come and Kelly is gonna kill their recruiting efforts. At the very least, Jimbo is one hell of a recruiter. Not sure what, if anything, Kelly brings other than a manly arse grind with young men.

It is near professional malpractice that the PTB at LSU didn’t take this into account before tendering $90 mil guaranteed.

I absolutely agree that Woodward is terrible and Kelly was an awful hire.

But Aranda was the guy. Napier was #2 though.

So far Scott's highlight at LSU is hiring Kim Mulkey (WBB coach) who is actually a great hire but football success will determine his fate

Poor Sidewalk...facts and hard numbers aren’t your friends. To reiterate: BK’s winning percentage against historically weak competition at ND, is less than Jimbo’s winning percentage at A&M in the SEC. ND has never played an SEC caliber schedule. LSU was desperate and got suckered in.
